Loving yourself and accepting yourself is key to happiness. While the aim should be to love yourself unconditionally, some think they would love themselves more if they were slimmer. If you feel that this is the case, then go ahead, set a goal and reach it. When you do you will love yourself for both: having the willpower to do it and for your new slimmer body. Staying active is essential to feeling happy and confident!
Live life to the fullest!
If you take care of your body and mind and make it your priority, you are more likely to enjoy a more energetic life full of fun experiences. When you listen to your body and mind, you will sleep when you need to, you will regularly get a health check up, take your vitamins, follow a proper diet, meditate, etc. You will be in tune with your urges and you will cater to your body’s needs better. In turn it will cooperate with you by giving you more energy to do things and allowing you to enjoy your experiences to the fullest. Moreover, by looking after yourself you can ensure to have a happy, long and healthy life. Even as much as 2-3 hours of exercises per week is enough to keep you fit and increase your lifespan!
Listen to yourself, not the others!
It takes someone very comfortable with themselves to not get dragged in different directions by our peers. You may often find yourself spending the entire weekend with friends doing things that perhaps are not the most enjoyable for you at the moment, since you would prefer not to chat incessantly but lie quietly somewhere in a hammock and read a book. If you find this happens to you a lot, you probably need to cater better to your own wishes. Aim to be independent! Aim to a have a firm view of yourself, clearly defined likes and dislikes and develop your intuition listening skills. You will get there if you prioritize your health and wellbeing and if you do some meditation to get in tune with your inner voice. Listen to your intuition and not the people around you, it is never wrong! In turn it will repay you by having blissful moments of harmony, where everything is just perfect and every second is spent in the best possible way.
